About Lesson
The Duolingo English Test consists of two main parts:
This part evaluates your skills in listening, reading, speaking, and writing through adaptive tasks:
- Listening: Tasks like identifying missing words or choosing the correct answer based on spoken sentences.
- Reading: Tasks include reading comprehension, vocabulary, and text interpretation.
- Speaking: You might be asked to describe an image or answer questions aloud.
- Writing: You may have to write a short response or summarize a text.
- Interactive Tasks: Some tasks combine multiple skills, such as typing a response to a question or selecting a missing word while listening to a passage.
