Dear test takers, are you aware of the two questions that were removed from the DET test in July 2025? If you do not know, it’s time to upgrade your test knowledge. Three different questions are completely swept out from the DET test in 2025, and you will not have to practice them. Some practice portals have updated the software on which you prepare for the test. However, others are in the process of doing so.
The first question type is read aloud. This question contributed to your speaking and reading marks and was one of the scoring questions on the test.
The second one is Listen and then Speak; in this question type, you are supposed to listen to a question and then produce a response. This question contributed marks to the speaking module.
Interactive listening, where you are asked to listen to a conversation between two people, such as a professor and a student. This question type contributed to your marks in listening, writing, and reading. This one is not completely removed, but there are some modifications or amendments that have been made to it.
