It is believed by various individuals that online learning is a better way of studying than the traditional/conventional way of learning through printed books. This essay will highlight both perspectives and will put forward my personal choice.
There are a lot of platforms available online that offer a wide range of books on a particular subject. The content is updated regularly, so the latest progress and research are added to the content available on the cloud. Hence, the content available is curated and, in turn, saves the time of a learner. Moreover, the subscription cost of such portals, for instance, Wikipedia, is as low as the cost of one physical copy of a book. It is convenient for students to download and share it among their peer group, too. Hence, virtual learning is always on par.
Contrary to this, learning through a physical copy of a book has been going on for centuries. It is preferred by all parents for their children right from kindergarten, as children cannot take care of expensive electronic gadgets, and the replacement cost is exorbitant. Most of the breakages and damages are beyond repair. Also, there is no limitation on working Internet connection and electrical supply. Reading a book, magazine, or newspaper in printed form is easier on the eyes and causes less stress.
I firmly believe that studying through a physical copy of a book is more convenient than learning from a digital copy on a phone, computer, or iPad. It is beneficial for students of all ages, making learning stress-free at all times.
